The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology’s Office for Digital Identities & Attributes (OfDIA) has published the Digital Identity Sectoral Analysis Report 2026, warning that biometric, liveness-detection and AI-enabled verification services are increasingly used in right-to-work and pre-employment checks.
